Foresaking all

Today I attended Christian Education
It is a one hour study group in my Church
We were in the chapter on discipleship focusing on "foresaking all"

We discussed about planning for the future.
Lord Jesus is coming for sure
So we must have balance Joshua said

Live as tho Jesus will come today
Live as tho Jesus will not come today
Then you will have tomorrow

Balance..that's what we need
Not laziness..

If there is a need for reaching out
Do it..support it..rather than hording excess
For tomorrow

Those who gather much will not have more
Those who gather little will not lack

Are you able to foresack whatever is standing in the way
In your following Jesus

TOMORROW IS SUNDAY
AND I AM WONDERING HOW TO GET TO CHURCH
AND WHETHER I SHOULD GO

JESUS LORD YOU CALL ME
THERE IS NO REASON TO PONDER
FOR TO BE WITH YOU IS MY DESTINY

JESUS LORD I AM WITH YOU
AND IT PAINS ME TO THINK OF ALL
THE MANY WHO HUNGER FOR YOU
AND ARE SEPERATED BY THE LAWS OF EVIL

YES IT IS SATAN WHO STOPS ANYONE FROM
COMING TO YOU LORD
YET THE DARKNESS SHALL NOT OVERCOME YOU

SO SUNDAY IS A JOURNEY I MUST TAKE
AND EVERYDAY I LOVE YOU LORD
GIVE ME THE STRENGTH TO UPHOLD THIS TRUTH
IN THE FACE OF ALL THE WILES OF EVIL

WHY MIDNIGHT?

It was the dawn of a new day
An attempt to be true
For I have been hiding too long
For you Lord

For you have called me
To a task I did fear
But now I know I must come out
And say it loud for all to hear

Across the open world
Where hearts meet and love
Where no rules separate us
I will honour you My Lord

For it is true you came to save us
Yet we have hidden you from so many
Just because we believed that we should
A false belief I submitted to

But here My Lord
I will worship you
Here my Lord Jesus
I want to tell everyone

Who you are
Yes the Son of God
Not a man , not a messenger,
But God come down to reach us

To love us more
